Scientists are helping in various ways to understand how rocks in the core of the Earth helps in tectonic plates movement.

Explanation:

The movement of the tectonic plates in the core of the Earth helps to regulate the water cycle that is very important for the planet. Plate tectonic is based on various geological phenomenon that includes mountain buildings, earthquakes and volcanoes as well as continental drift.

Plates play an important role by acting like a hard and rigid shell than the Earth's mantle. The strong outer layer is referred as lithosphere. Through research scientists found various flaws in the atomic packing in upper mantle minerals that becomes widespread under oxidising  condition and thus speed of seismic waves reduces.

Nezavi [6.7K]

Answer:

India, Pakistan, and China are unlikely to risk a significant conflict over their competing claims in Kashmir because the three nations are nuclear powers, with which an eventual military conflict in the region could imply a nuclear escalation that would significantly affect global stability. .

Indeed, China is one of the five countries authorized to possess nuclear weapons by the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. For their part, both India and Pakistan are not party to the treaty, and have developed their own nuclear weapons.

Thus, China has about 200 active nuclear warheads, Pakistan about 90 and India about 70, that is, the three nations have the possibility of destroying each other if they wish so. And it is precisely this possibility that limits the escalation of conflicts in the region: the fear of being destroyed by the enemy makes the peace to last.

The correct answer is A) coal deposits.

During the Late Carboniferous, Indiana lay close to the equator, making the climate humid and warm. Swamps and wetlands were prominent in much of the state. Dominant fossil plants from this time include lycopods, conifers, and seed ferns (extinct gymnosperms). Plant material accumulated in these areas of Indiana and eventually became the source of Indiana’s abundant coal deposits.

During this time, rivers drained the remnants of the Acadian mountain. Large amounts of sand stayed on the banks of the rivers. Scientists and archeologists working in the zone have found fossils of bryozoans, crinoids, gastropods, and brachiopods. There many carboniferous rocks in the southwestern territories of Indiana.
