Human resource managers can complete professional certification exams to earn the sphr or phr certificates. This statement is true.

The definition of a manager is someone who is responsible for overseeing and motivating employees and directing the progress of an organization. Examples of managers include those responsible for customer service, handling customer disputes, and supervising and monitoring customer service representatives.

Interpersonal Roles cover the relationships a manager needs with others. Her three roles within this category are frontman, leader, and liaison. Because of their formal authority and symbolic status, managers must act as representatives of their organization. Management and leadership skills are often used interchangeably as they involve planning, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, delegation, and time management. Great managers are almost always great leaders.
