The value of x is 44.5

The measures of the three angles are 85° , 44.5° , 50.5°

Step-by-step explanation:

The sum of the measures of the three angles of a triangle is 180°

The angles of a triangle are 2x - 4 , x , x + 6

We need to find the value of x and the measure of each angle

To solve the problem

  • Add the three angles
  • Equate their sum by 180
  • Solve the equation to find the value of x
  • Substitute the value of x in each angle to find its measure

∵ The angles of the triangles are 2x - 4 , x , x + 6

∴ The sum of the angles = 2x - 4 + x + x + 6

- Add the like terms

∴ The sum of the angles = 4x + 2

∵ The sum of the measures of the three angles of a triangle is 180°

- Equate the sum of the angles by 180

∴ 4x + 2 = 180

- Subtract 2 from both sides

∴ 4x = 178

- Divide both sides by 4

∴ x = 44.5

The value of x is 44.5

Substitute the value of x in each angle to find the measure of each angle

∵ The measure of one angle = 2x - 4

∵ x = 44.5

∴ The measure of the angle = 2(44.5) - 4 = 85°

∵ The measure of 2nd angle = x

∴ The measure of the angle = 44.5°

∵ The measure of one angle = x + 6

∵ x = 44.5

∴ The measure of the angle = 44.5 + 6 = 50.5°

The measures of the three angles are 85° , 44.5° , 50.5°

Danielle built a rectangular dog run that is 888 feet wide and has an area of 208 square feet.
umka2103 [35]
Let us assume the length of the rectangle = x
Width of the rectangular dog run = 888 feet
Area of the rectangular dog run = 208 square feet
We already know
Area = Length * Width
Length = Area/Width
           =  208/888 feet
           = 0.23 feet
So the length of the rectangular dog run is 0.23 feet. Since you have commented that you made a mistake in giving the question so the answer will also definitely change but the procedure will remain the same.

Which equation would you use to solve the following situation?
Masteriza [31]

Answer:

6p = 42

Step-by-step explanation:

If everybody scores 6 then the possible equation could be 6p = 42.

p represents the people on the team.

Solve for the variable p:

6p = 42

6p/6 = 42/6

p = 7

There are 7 people on the team.

hope this helps and is right!! p.s. i really need brainliest :)

If (44)x = 432, what is the value of x?
Gemiola [76]

Answer:

x= 9.81... repeating

Step-by-step explanation:

Divide 44 to isolate x.

(44)x = 432

x= 432/44

x= 9.818

Or if you want a fraction,

x= 108/11

Can someone answer these questions for me? It's for my study guide. I will be posting more questions soon.
marissa [1.9K]
The first is 6.1 using the distance formula.
distance = sqrt((x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2)
plug it all in and simplify
you get 6.1

the next one is the midpoint. u just take add both values of x together and divide by 2 to get the x coordinate and then add together both values of y and divide by 2 to get the y value. the midpoint is (8,7)

to find the perimeter of the rectangle, add the lengths of each side. 25 for the height and you would add 2 of those and then there are 2 sides as long as the length that you would add. it would be height+height+length+length which is 25+25+77+77=204. remember units so 204 ft
