The conversations at the party describe the environment of Gatsby's events as stylish, extravagant, wild in manner, and luxurious.

Gatsby's celebration is nearly unbelievably costly: visitors surprise over his Rolls-Royce, his swimming pool, his, crates of fresh oranges and lemons, buffet tents within the gardens overflowing with a dinner party, and a stay orchestra playing beneath the celebs
