The given statement that the texas constitution of 1866 did not exclude former secessionists from voting is True.

The 1866 texas constitution gave for some civil rights for freedmen, agreed to the end of slavery, canceled all war debt, and proclaimed the Ordinance of Secession null and void in order to rejoin the United States.

Former secessionists were not prohibited from voting under the 1866 Texas constitution.

In order to create a Texas constitution that complied with the conditions laid forth by the United States for Texas's re-entry into the Union, the Texas Constitutional Convention of 1866 was established.

The conference expanded on general aspects of governmental power. More courts were established, each with a different area of jurisdiction. The job of comptroller was changed from being elected to being appointed.

After the civil war, why was it considered inappropriate for president andrew johnson to make a series of speeches seeking publi
shusha [124]
The answer is,  D<span>uring the nineteenth century, it was perceived to be undignified for a president to campaign on his own behalf.

Basically, people don't like candidates to campaign for themselves on the things that they have done. Especially in publications where they would want to post for elections which is a selfish act in view of the people especially for a running President. They usually give small speeches in a dignified way.

Give an example of situation where the Japanese feel insulted by what they perceived as the racism of western countries
Andreyy89

Answer:

Takao Ozawa v. United States(1922)

Explanation:

The case cited above was a situation where the Japanese believed that they were racially discriminated by the United States, a Western country. Ozawa had lived in the United States for twenty years and was now applying for citizenship by naturalization.

His race disqualified him from attaining citizenship because, according to the Supreme Court, he did not fall into the Caucasian race. Ozawa challenged this by describing himself as a "free white person" who was qualified by law to attain citizenship.
