Fascist leaders Benito Mussolini of Italy and Adolf Hitler of Germany were considered totalitarian rulers because they exhibited
Korolek [52]

Answer:

Government control over nearly all aspects of the lives of its citizens

Explanation:

Mussolini and Hitler were dictators, which means that the public literally couldn't do anything to oppose their views and they had to listen to all the orders Hitler and Mussolini gave. They also couldn't speak about the two totalitarian leaders in a bad way because they were scared about execution. Even if someone stood up against them, the dictators would respond brutally, often killing them and their families.

How are officers in the executive branch selected in Oklahoma?
viva [34]

In order to be elected governor, any gubernatorial candidate is required to obtain a statewide plurality of votes cast in their election. Given the dominance of the two-party system in Oklahoma (between the Democrats and the Republicans), the plurality is often a majority as well. However, in case the event that two or more candidates have an equal number of votes, the state legislature, by joint ballot, elects one of those candidates governor.

The constitution names the governor the state's chief magistrate and vested in him the supreme executive power. As a consequence, the governor is the preeminent figure in Oklahoma politics. Though he or she shares power with many other executive officers, in the event of a vacancy anywhere in the executive branch, he or she appoints their successor. The governor appoints the heads of state departments and agencies as well as the members of most state commissioners and boards. However, these appointments do require Senate approval. Some serve at his or her pleasure while others serve fixed terms.

What were some things that Huey Long did that some people may not have liked?
Dmitry [639]

Answer:

He proposed a $10 billion land reclamation project to end the Dust Bowl. Long promised free medical service for all citizens and what he called a "war on disease" led by the Mayo brothers. These reforms, Long claimed, would end the Great Depression. His opponents argued his policies and methods were unconstitutional and dictatorial. At its climax, political opposition organized a minor insurrection. Long was elected to the U.S. Senate in 1930 but did not assume his seat until 1932.
