Disclaimer- The complete question is-

Prince Paper has budgeted the following amounts for its next fiscal year:

Total fixed expenses $300,000

Selling price per unit $60

Variable expenses per unit $25

If Price Paper spends an additional $12,800 on advertising, sales volume should increase by 1000 units. What effect will this have on operating income?

If Price Paper spends an additional $12,800 on advertising, sales volume increases by 1000 units. The operating income will be 22,200.

Selling price per unit $60 = 60(1000 units) = 60,000

Variable expenses per unit $25 = 25(1000 units) = 25,000

FE advertising = 12800

Operating income = Total Revenue – Direct Costs – Indirect Costs

                              = 60,000 - 25,000 - 12800 = 22,200

Nezavi [6.7K]

Answer:

The correct answer would be option B, Get information about the benefits they provide to their employees.

Explanation:

When a person applies for a post in an organization, it is better for him to have some useful knowledge about the working and atmosphere of the organization, so that he will be able to answer the questions according to the level of organizational environment. So the best way to have some information about the company is to get information about the benefits they provide to their employees. This will give you an insight into the fact that how they value their employees and how they treat them. For example, if you come to know that they provide medical facilities, over time allowance, day care service for the working moms, provide residence for employees hired from other cities, etc, then you will have an idea that they treat their employees well and there would be a calm and family like atmosphere when you will go to give interview. Other options are the ones which won't be so much helpful in knowing the organizational culture and won't give enough information about the company.

Assume that Ms. Sawyer's salary is $35,000, up from $31,000 last year, while the CPI is 187.5 this year, up from 180 last year.
Marianna [84]

Answer:

Increased

Explanation:

Based on the information given we were told Ms. Sawyer's salary is the amount of $35,000, up from the amount of $31,000 last year which means that Ms. Sawyer's salary had INCREASED from $31,000 last year to $35,000 this year

Secondly we were told that the CPI is 187.5 this year which is up from 180 last year which means that Ms. Sawyer's CPI had INCREASED

from 180 last year to 187.5 this year.

Therefore this simply means that Ms. Sawyer's real income has INCREASED since last year.

Which capital budgeting method is most useful for evaluating a project that has an initial afterminustax cost of $5,000,000 and
OverLord2011 [107]

Answer:

(NPV) Net present value method is the most effective capital budgeting method

Explanation:

we know here

initial after minus tax cost = $5,000,000

after minus tax cash flows in 1st year = $1,800,000

and in 2nd year = $2,900,000

and in 3rd year  = $2,700,000

and 4th year is = $2,300,000

so here cash outflows even after the initial outlay in year 0

so we not use here IRR

so that best and most most effective capital budgeting method  is NPV net present value

we use it NPV
