The ratio of number of fiction books to total number of books that she read   12:13.

Given :

Emily reads 24 friction books and 2 nonfiction books.

Number of fiction books she read =24

Number of nofiction boos she read = 2

Total number of books = 26

To Find :

What is the ratio of the number of fiction books she read to the total number of books that she read ?

Solution :

Total number of books that she read=24+2=26

number of fiction books she read=24

Thus ratio of number of fiction books to total number of books that she read

 ⇒  \frac{24}{26}

 ⇒  \frac{12}{13}

 ⇒ 12: 13

Hence  ratio of number of fiction books to total number of books that she read 12 : 13

Marta_Voda [28]

Answer:

You would need to score a 93% to have an average of 90.

Step-by-step explanation:

Well, to check my work you would need to find the average.

So, 93 + 92 + 88 + 87 = 360. Then you divide by four; 360 / 4 = 90. ^^

(5 7/8-6 3/4)-2 1/4
Solve the numbers in the parenthesis ( I change the denominators to a common denominator that 8 and 4 share)
(5 7/8 - 6 3/4)-2 1/4
          ^
        -1  1/8-2 1/4
(I use KKC aka Keep Change Change where I keep -1  1/8 the same, change the minus sign to a plus sign, and change the -2 1/4 to positive) ( I change the denominators to a common denominator that 8 and 4 share)
-1  1/8 + +2 1/4 = 1  1/8
