Mean is 80 million

Standar deviation is 11 million

Probabiliy of less tha 103 million

First we normalize the values using the fomula:

Z = (x - u)/s

x = 103

u = 80

s = 11

Z = (103-80)/11 = 23/11 = 2.09

Using the standar normal ditribution tables, this value represents: 0.01831

So the probability is 1 - 0.01831 - 0.9817

A coin is tossed, and a standard number cube is rolled. What is the probability that the coin shows heads and the number cube sh
Ainat [17]
So,

Since this is independent probability, the probability of the event above occurring is:
(probability\ of\ heads)(probability\ of\ even\ no.)

First, the probability of landing on heads.
\frac{1}{2}

Now, the probability of rolling an even number.
<u />\frac{3}{6}\ or\  \frac{1}{2}

Plug it into the equation.
\frac{1}{2} * \frac{1}{2} =  \frac{1}{4}

The correct option is C.
