The man nominated for vice president replaced by Sargent Shriver was Thomas F. Eagleton

After the ritual, it was revealed that Eagleton had discovered a depression treatment in the 1960s. McGovern ultimately opted to replace Eagleton with former ambassador Sergeant Shriver, despite his initial support for keeping Eagleton on the ticket. The Nixon-Agnew ticket won the presidential election over the McGovern-Shriver ticket.

After the Eagleton controversy, the selection process for vice presidents took longer going forward. Senator Thomas Eagleton of Missouri, who petitioned labor unions and Catholics—two groups McGovern had singled out during the primary movement—was given the location by McGovern. The 1972 Democratic National Convention chose the team of McGovern and Eagleton.

It is less expensive to die in Miami than it is to die in Oregon; this is an example of the ethical issue of allocation of resou
Jlenok [28]

Answer:

False

Explanation:

It is way more expensive to die in Miami than it is to die in Oregon if we are to follow the allocation of resources. The cost of living in Oregon has been saif to cheaper than the cost of living in Miami by about 5%. If Oregon is cheaper than Miami in this regard, then it will be less expensive to die in Oregon than to die in Miami, hence the answer to the question being False.

What do you think would happen if units had formed
diamong [38]

Answer:

It was a question raised at the “Comparative Climatology of Terrestrial Planets III”; a meeting held in Houston at the end of August. It brought together scientists from disciplines that included astronomers, climate science, geophysics and biology to build a picture of what affects the environment on rocky worlds in our solar system and far beyond.

The question regarding Venus and Mars was proposed as a gedankenexperiment or “thought experiment”; a favorite of Albert Einstein to conceptually understand a topic. Dropping such a problem before the interdisciplinary group in Houston was meat before lions: the elements of this question were about to be ripped apart.

The Earth’s orbit is sandwiched between that of Venus and Mars, with Venus orbiting closer to the sun and Mars orbiting further out. While both our neighbors are rocky worlds, neither are top picks for holiday destinations.

never [62]

Answer:

There is no short answer.

Explanation:

Underdamped motion can be described as the type of motion where if the system is affected by a force, the oscillations of the movement slowly decreases until it reaches to an equilibrium. An example the underdamped motion can be a door that automatically closes with the help of a spring. If underdamped, the door swings back and forth until it stops.

Critically damped motion can be described as where the system does not oscillate and returns to its equilibrium as quickly as possible. Going with the door example, if the system is critically damped, the door closes as soon as it is released and does not move anymore.

Overdamped motion can be described as where the system again does not oscillate and returns to its equilibrium point but does so more slowly than the critically damped system. This time the door closes without swinging but its motion is much slower compared to the previous example.

Resonance can be described as a force or a wave of any kind overlapping with another with the same frequency and therefore amplifies the original amplitude of the force or wave. An example to this concept can be a swing, when pushed at the same frequency, its motion becomes bigger.
