Explanation:  In day to day life most Americans contact their state and local governments rather than the federal government. Although, it is responsibility of the federal court to oversee that local and state laws are constitutional. In general, libraries, schools, police departments, etc. fall under the oversight of state and local governments. All state governments are modeled after the federal government and consist of three branches: judicial, executive, and legislative.
