Answer:

A. Crossing-over between homologues.

In meiosis and mitosis, recombination happens between comparable particles of DNA (homologous groupings). In meiosis, non-sister homologous chromosomes pair with each other so recombination ordinarily occurs between non-sister homologs.

All living organism reproduces either through asexual reproduction or sexual reproduction or sometimes through both mode of reproduction. In both cases let it be sexual or asexual, the mode of cell division namely meiotic and mitotic cell division, the recombination between homologous chromosomes is a typical system utilized in reproduction.

What problems would upu expect to observe in an ecosystem without secondary consumers
Anastaziya [24]

If secondary consumers are removed from the ecosystem, an ecological imbalance may be created. Secondary consumers are generally feed on other animals (primary consumers) Thus, on removing secondary consumers from food chain, there will be increase in population of primary consumers as a result all the grass and other vegetation will be eaten by the primary consumers. This will leads to desertification and eventually all the top consumers will also eliminated from the ecosystem.

poizon [28]
There are two types of cell division: mitosis and meiosis. Most of the time when people refer to “cell division,” they mean mitosis, the process of making new body cells. Meiosis is the type of cell division that creates egg and sperm cells. Mitosis is a fundamental process for life.
