Finding the x and y intercepts

For x intercept

When y = 0

This gives

Hence, x intercept is (13, 0)

For y intercept

When x = 0

This gives

$\begin{gathered} y+4=\frac{2}{5}(0-3) \\ y+4=\frac{2}{5}(-3) \\ y=\frac{-6}{5}-4 \\ y=\frac{-6-20}{5} \\ y=-\frac{26}{5} \\ y=-5.2 \end{gathered}$
