Cardiovascular fitness and the risk of heart attack are correlated in a way that any cardiovascular disease like a heart attack can be an outcome of poor cardiovascular fitness.

Good cardiovascular fitness allows you to perform rhythmic exercises for an extended period. It will thus improve your risk for heart disease or heart attack. Hypertension, diabetes, bad cholesterol levels, and obesity are the health conditions that increase your risk for heart disease.

High blood pressure is called a silent killer because it shows no symptoms and may prove life-threatening. Increased levels of low-density blood cholesterol are often acquired from unhealthy foods that you eat. Diabetes mellitus does not provide enough glucose required for respiration and obesity can lead to many other diseases including the ones explained above.

Thus, you need to improve these conditions to improve your cardiovascular fitness. Moreover, performing rhythmic exercises and maintaining a healthy diet can help you achieve cardiovascular fitness.
