7 0

the two points are,

(5,4) & (7,10)

so the slope is,

\begin{gathered} m=\frac{10-4}{7-5} \\ m=\frac{6}{2}=3 \end{gathered}

so, the slope of the line is,

m = 3

The slope-intercept equation of a line is y=-7x-2. What are the slope and y-intercept if the line?
sergiy2304 [10]
In y = mx + b...the slope is in the m position and the y intercept is in the b position.

y = -7x - 2
slope(m) = -7
y int (b) = -2...or (0,-2)
