The ER membrane is directly connected to the ribosome that is generating the protein. In general, the endoplasmic reticulum's job is to make proteins so that the remainder of the cell can operate. It can be smooth or rough.

Ribosomes, which are tiny, elongated organelles with a round shape, are found on the rough endoplasmic reticulum and are responsible for producing those proteins. Rough endoplasmic reticulum, or rough ER, refers to places where membrane-bound ribosomes cover the ER's surface.

This large organelle is made up of flattish, sealed sacs that are next to the nuclear membrane and are highly convoluted. Endoplasmic reticulum is referred to as "rough" because ribosomes are present on its outer surface, which is the surface that comes into touch with the cytoplasm. An ER is known as Rough ER because of the distinctively rough look it takes on when ribosomes connect to its surface. A smooth ER, on the other hand, doesn't have ribosomes on its surface. It has ribosomes that are attached to its membrane.

Ribosomes in eukaryotes can either be free, which means they are moving freely in the cytoplasm, or bound, which means they are affixed to the endoplasmic reticulum or the outer nuclear envelope.

The huge network of linked, membranous, infolded, and twisted sacks that are found in the cytoplasm of the cell is known as the reticulum (rough ER)

Ribosomes on the surface of rough ER give it a rough appearance.

The ER membrane is directly connected to the ribosome that is generating the protein.

Rough endoplasmic reticulum, often known as rough ER, is a phrase used to describe places where these membrane-bound ribosomes coat the ER surface.

Hence, the structure directly outside the nucleus that has ribosomes bound to it is called endoplasmic reticulum.

9.) The number of times a gene occurs in a gene pool is
stiks02 [169]

Answer:

Explanation:

A gene pool typically has two or more alleles for a given trait. Homozygous lethal traits can be carried by heterozygous individuals and thus remain in a gene pool. Relative Frequency is the number of times an allele occurs in a gene pool compared with the number of times other alleles occur.

Explanation: I think the way to do it is to just divide the biomass of the primary carnivores by the herbivores since they are the trophic levels right next to each other. Therefore, the efficiency of energy transfer is (2360/25900)*100%=9.112%. Hope that helped!
