If a carpenter cut the top section of a window frame with a 40º angle on each end. The side pieces each have a 50º angle cut at their top ends, as shown. Yes the side pieces of the frame will be parallel. How i know is that both side are equal or parallel.

Parallel

The interior angles are the same or equal in measure. On the other hand the sum of the interior angles have to be 180°.

The two side pieces on the right hand and left hand side are equal in measure. The sides can be parallel only if the sum of both side angles is equal to 180°

Let calculate the one side of the interior angle and both side of the interior angle

One side of the interior angle=40º+50º

One side of the interior angle=90°

Both side of the interior angle=90°+90°

Both side of the interior angle=180°

Hence,

The side are parallel because: 180°=180°

Therefore Yes the side pieces of the frame will be parallel. How i know is that both side are equal or parallel.

Number 3 and how you got the answer
melomori [17]
You have the correct steps and final answer. The area of the room is 196 square feet, so each side is sqrt(196) = 14. The perimeter is 14*4 = 56 feet. You'll need 6 boards (each 10 ft long) to get 60 ft total. You'll have 60-56 = 4 ft of board left over. This is assuming that there isn't any other type of waste or mistakes made in cutting.

Nice work on getting the correct steps and final answer.

the total cost of 2 kg of Apples in 6 of oranges is rupees 570 if the cost of 3 kg of apples is the same as the cost of 5 kg of
HACTEHA [7]

Answer:

Cost of 1 kg apple = a = RS 102 (Approx.)

Cost of 1 kg orange = b = RS 61 (Approx.)

Step-by-step explanation:

Assume;

Cost of 1 kg apple = a

Cost of 1 kg orange = b

So,

2a + 6b = 570 ....... Eq1

and

3a = 5b..........Eq2

From eq 2

3a = 5b

a = 5b / 3

So,

2a + 6b = 570

2(5b/3) + 6b = 570

b = 61.07

Cost of 1 kg orange = b = RS 61 (Approx.)

a = 5b / 3

a = 5(61) / 3

Cost of 1 kg apple = a = RS 102 (Approx.)

Write the trigonometric expression in terms of sine and cosine, and then simplify.

Hello,

tan t /(sec t -cos t)= sin t/(cos t *(1/cos t -cos t))
=sin t/(cos t*(1-cos ²t)/cos t))
=sin t/sin² t=1/sin t [or=cosec t.]
