Answer: The sun is shining so hot and gleaming, making the summer water come up steaming. The moon so bright and calm at night, making it seem like the brightest thing in sight. The children sleeping so calm and silent, in their dreams they seem like a giant.

Read the excerpt from The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
34kurt

Answer:

A. Evil can never truly hide itself.

Explanation:

"Evil can never truly hide itself" is the theme covered in this excerpt. This is because it shows that even if Hyde hid and did evil without anyone being able to solve it and even if that evil was in relation to himself, it would not be hidden and it would not be possible that this truth would never be discovered, because all the evil is perceptible at one time or another.

When an author uses a fable with a moral to present a message, what is the most likely purpose?
Bumek [7]
Hello :)

When an author uses a fable with a moral top represent a message, it is most likely for the purpose of (Mary Poppins reference here) to use a spoonful of sugar to help the medicine go down. Now when I️ saw that, it’s like the writer is trying to get down to the bitter truth in revealing just how flawed human nature is, and how blind we can be to it. A way for the writer to expose it is to slip in some kind of similar scenario in a fairy tale or story. The Brothers Grimm often did the same thing in the stories they wrote and documented.

Hope this made sense >.<
