formula for distnace between two points is,

\sqrt[]{(x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2}

here x1=2, x2= 3, y1= 5, y2 =7 ,on sustituting in the above formula we get,

\sqrt[]{(3-2)^2}+\sqrt[]{(7-5)^2}

How do you simplify 0.1m x <img src="https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=2%5Cpi" id="TexFormula1" title="2\pi" alt="2\pi" align="absmiddle"
sladkih [1.3K]

Answer:

  0.2π m

Step-by-step explanation:

Assuming your "x" is a multiplication symbol, form the product of the numerical constants.

  = 0.2mπ

If m represents units of meters, it can be placed last:

  = 0.2π m

If you want an approximate value, use an appropriate approximation of π.

  ≈ 0.628319 m

Find the slope of the line.
kicyunya [14]

Answer:

slope = \frac{-1}{5}

Step-by-step explanation:

Find the slope of the line using the slope formula, \frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}. The formula requires two points from the line - and looking at the graph, (1, 10) and (6, 9) are two points the line passes through (but any other points the line also passes through would work fine, too). So, substitute the points' x and y values into the formula and solve:

\frac{(9)-(10)}{(6)-(1)} \\= \frac{-1}{5}\\

Therefore, -\frac{1}{5} is the slope.
