the value of x is 22/5

now, to solve y , we repleca x on any equation, for example on second

$\begin{gathered} x+y=6 \\ (\frac{22}{5})+y=6 \\ \\ y=6-\frac{22}{5} \\ \\ y=\frac{8}{5} \end{gathered}$

the value of y is 8/5
