The jeweler made 7 bracelets and 9 necklaces .

In the question ,

it is given that

amount of gold in each bracelet is = 6 grams

amount of gold in each necklace is = 24 grams .

let the number of bracelets = "b" .

let the number of necklaces = "n" .

since the total number of necklace and bracelet is 16 .

the equation is b + n = 16

so , b = 16 - n

also given that total gold used is 258 grams .

so the equation is 6b + 24n = 258

Substituting b= 16 - n in the equation ,

we get , 6*(16 - n) + 24n = 258

96 - 6n + 24n = 258

96 + 18n = 258

18n = 258 - 96

18n = 162

n = 162/18

n = 9

and b = 16 - 9 = 7

Therefore , The jeweler made 7 bracelets and 9 necklaces .

Answer:

A)1/4, 1/2 ,1/4

B)1

C)3/4

D)1

Step-by-step explanation:

THESE IS THE COMPLETE QUESTION:

A bucket contains one green block, one red block, and two yellow blocks. You choose one block from the bucket.

A)Find the theoretical probability that you will choose each color.

B)Find the sum of probability in(a)

C)What is the probability that you will not choose a red block?

D)Find the sum of the probabilities of choosing a red block and probability of not choosing a red block

EXPLANATIONS:

Sample of blocks: green,red, yellow, yellow

Total sample =4

Green sample = 1

Red sample 1

Yellow sample = 2

A)To find the theoretical probability that you will choose green.

i) P( choosing a green block)= green sample/Total sample

=1/4

To find the theoretical probability that you will choose red

ii)P(choosing a red block) = Red sample block/Total sample of blocks

= 1/2

To find the theoretical probability that you will choose yellow

iii) P(choosing a yellow block) = 1/4

B)The sum of probability in( a)

=P( choosing a green block) + P( choosing a Red block) +P( choosing a yellow block)

= 1/4 + 1/2 + 1/4

=1

C)P( Not choosing a red block) = 1 - 1/4

= 3/4

D)P(Sum of choosing a red block and not choosing a a red block)

=1/4 + 3/4

= 1
