The cognitive process that Piaget called accommodation occurs when someone changes how they think about the world based on their new experiences. (Option A)

The term accommodation was originally proposed by Jean Piaget to define the adaptation process. According to Piaget’s theory, accommodation refers to a cognitive process which involves modifying an individual existing ideas or schemas about the working of the world in reaction to new information and experiences. The process of accommodation is universal as it applies to children and adults. For example, a child may have an existing schema for birds as something who feathers and flies and then views a plane, which also flies, but does not fit into their bird schema. Hence, a child will modify his schema of things that fly to include birds and planes.

Anit [1.1K]

Answer:

d. bound by the contract, under a theory of agency by estoppel

Explanation:

Marisol is bound by the contract because during the negotiation Charlie and Jamal, he created an appearance that will make Jamal believe that Charlie was his agent, he did not counter the claim that the bicycle was up for sale. Under the theory of agency by estoppel, a contract exist and is binding on a principal when he or she creates the appearance of an agency even though it actually does not exist. The action of Marisol created the impression that Charlie is his agent even though he actually is not so the contract is binding on him to sell the bicycle to Jamal.
