The complementary DNA strand for a strand of DNA can be written by following the base pairing rule.

DNA is the genetic material present in majority of the organisms. The structure of DNA is helical and double stranded. The constituents of DNA are: deoxyribose sugar, phosphate group and bases. The bases present in DNA are: adenine, guanine, cytosine and uracil.

The base pairing rule states that an adenine can only be paired with thymine in DNA or uracil in RNA and vice-versa. Similarly a cytosine can be paired with guanine and vice-versa. Adenine and thymine are boded with a double hydrogen bonds while cytosine and guanine with triple hydrogen bond.

The low salt diet is a great solution to overcome heath determinant of Biology and genetics.

  • According to this question, Patel and her siblings have inherited high blood pressure from their parents. This tells us that the health condition is a genetic disorder, which is branch of Biology.

  • Patel and her siblings are however, on a low salt diet as a solution to overcome the health challenge (high blood pressure).

This solution is, hence, a great solution to overcome the heath determinant of Biology and genetics.
