The sun's energy heats the surface of the planet, warms the atmosphere, fuels photosynthesis, causes evaporation, controls the weather and water cycles, and drives ocean currents.

What is the relationship between the Sun and the ocean?

Oceanic regions are warmed by the sun. Like warm air, warm waters also rise. Thus, as a region's warmer ocean waters warm up, cooler ocean waters from another region will move in to replace them, which is how our ocean currents are formed.

They essentially play the most significant role in the planet's energy balance. To evaporate the water present there, the sun constantly transfers energy to the oceans, lakes, and rivers. The result of this evaporation can be seen in the clouds that we see in the sky every day.

In which region would you find the BEST top soil
zheka24 [161]

The best topsoil will be found in the tropical region.

What are tropical regions?

They are regions of the world located within the two tropics - tropic of Capricorn and tropic of Cancer.

The region is characterized by adequate precipitation and relatively warm annual temperature. Thus, there is a high diversity of plants and animal species.

Tropical forests are known as the biodiversity hotspots of the world. This means that the soil is rich enough to support a diverse species of plants as compared to other regions of the world.
