The reduced coenzymes generated by the citric acid cycle donate electrons in a series of reactions called the electron transport chain. The answers are as;

a) 1. NADH and 7. FADH2

b) 6. O2

c) 3. NAD+, 1. H2O, 4. ATP and 8. FAD

Oxygen is the ultimate electron acceptor, and it combines with hydrogen ions to produce H2O. This process occurs at the conclusion of the electron transport process.

ATP molecules, which are carriers of energy, would be the final outcome of the oxidative phosphorylation process.

(a) NADH and FADH2 donate electrons to the electron transport chain.

(b) O2 is the final electron acceptor.

(c)  NAD+,  H2O,  ATP, and  FAD are the final products of the electron transport chain and oxidative phosphorylation.

The etiologic agent of the disease must be first identified. The most important thing to know is the source of the organism. Transmission of the disease must be identify to prevent further spread and limit the number of persons with the disease.The route,mode of transmission should be identified. Quarantine of those infected and symptomatic can be done if necessary. The initiation of treatment must be started once infection is identified. Prophylaxis can also given to those individual at risk of acquiring the disease.

Spherocytosis is a human blood disorder associated with a defective cytoskeletal protein in the red blood cells (rbcs). what do
Alex17521 [72]
In spherocytosis, there is a defect in the membrane proteins of the red blood cells, specifically ankyrin and spectrin. These membrane proteins contribute to the biconcave shape of red blood cells therefore the loss of these proteins will lead the red blood cells to lose its biconcave shape--leading to abnormally shaped red blood cells (spheres) hence the name. This can lead to premature destruction of red blood cells and jaundice due to hyperbilirubinemia. Spherocytes do not hold oxygen and carbon dioxide well as spherocytes have a decreased surface area.
