Charge per hour: $25

Number of hours: h

Total charge: $75

So, to find the number of hours spent on the job, we have to multiply the charge per hour (25) by the number of hours (h); and that expression must be equal to the total charge (75).

Mathematically speaking:

25h=75

First we need to establish the fact that angles on a straight line ALWYS add up to 180
So, we solve the equation for x which turns out to be 3
But,were not done. The question asks us to find the value of the angle BOC
so we substitute the value of x into the equation for BOC (which is 6x+29)
And then your answer is 47 degrees

Find the remainder when x4 - 5x3 + x2 - 10x - 5 is divided by x + 3.
m_a_m_a [10]

Use the remainder theorem: we can decompose the given polynomial in terms of quotient and remainder polynomials q(x) and r(x), respectively, such that

x^4 - 5x^3 + x^2 - 10x - 5 = (x + 3) q(x) + r(x)

Then letting x = -3 makes the quotient term vanish, and we're left with a remainder of

r(-3) = (-3)^4 - 5\times(-3)^4 + (-3)^2 - 10\times(-3) - 5 = \boxed{250}

What is the radius of this circle if the circumference is 183 cm?
BigorU [14]
I tried to do it and didn’t get any answer choice you provided, but to find the radius of a circle using circumference you take the circumference and divide it by 2 times pie. Which would be 185 or 183/6.28

Hoped this helped you sorry
