the orders served by Laura are 22, the orders served by Aldo are 29 and the orders served by Juan are 44.

Total number of orders served on Monday at the school cafeteria = 95

Juan served 2 times as many orders as Laura and Aldo served 7 more orders than Laura.

Let the orders served by Laura be x

Orders served by Juan = 2 x

Orders served by Aldo = x + 7

So, we get the equation as:

x + 2 x + x + 7 = 95

4 x + 7 = 95

4 x = 95 - 7

4 x = 88

x = 88 / 4

x = 22

x + 7 = 22 + 7 = 29

2 x = 2 (22) = 44

Therefore, we get that, the orders served by Laura are 22, the orders served by Aldo are 29 and the orders served by Juan are 44.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Confidence interval is written in the form,

(Sample mean - margin of error, sample mean + margin of error)

The sample mean, x is the point estimate for the population mean.

Since the sample size is large and the population standard deviation is known, we would use the following formula and determine the z score from the normal distribution table.

Margin of error = z × σ/√n

Where

σ = population standard Deviation

n = number of samples

From the information given

1) x = 17.5

σ = 5

n = 50

To determine the z score, we subtract the confidence level from 100% to get α

α = 1 - 0.9 = 0.1

α/2 = 0.1/2 = 0.05

This is the area in each tail. Since we want the area in the middle, it becomes

1 - 0.05 = 0.95

The z score corresponding to the area on the z table is 1.645. Thus, confidence level of 90% is 1.645

Margin of error = 1.645 × 5/√50 = 1.16

Confidence interval = 17.5 ± 1.16

makkiz [27]

Answer:

Result:

Research Scenario: Does distraction or amount of details affect the ability of people to make good decisions?

In this fictitious scenario, researchers used a mixed design. Thirty participants were split into two groups – No Distraction or Distraction (n=15 per group). All participants were given TWO scenarios based on amount of details (4 or 12), and were asked to make an objective decision at the end of each scenario. Objective decision was the dependent variable and was quantified numerically using an interval scale of measurement.

Assume the data is parametric. Select and conduct the most appropriate statistical test to determine whether distraction or amount of details affect people’s ability to make good decisions.

Let level of significance = 0.05.

Excel used for calculations:

[Find the 4 attachments]

To test the distraction affect people’s ability to make good decisions, Calculated F= 35.2851, P=0.0000 which is greater level of significance 0.05 level. We conclude that distraction affect people’s ability to make good decisions.

To test the amount of details affect people’s ability to make good decisions, Calculated F= 64.1963, P=0.0000 which is greater level of significance 0.05 level. We conclude that amount of details affect people’s ability to make good decisions.

To test the interaction between distraction and amount of details , Calculated F= 1324.9978, P=0.0000 which is greater level of significance 0.05 level. We conclude that interaction is significant.

Answer all three for 40 points
Stolb23 [73]

1.

So remember that with more than one pair of parentheses, you have to start from the inside and make your way outside.

Firstly, on the left side, solve 5+2 and on the right side solve 4 × 3:

4[3(7)]=95-12

Next, on the left side, solve 3 × 7 and on the right side solve the subtraction:

4[21]=83

Lastly, solve the remaining multiplication on the left side and the answer is 84= 83

Since 84 is not equal to 83, the correct answer is the second option.

2.

For this, plug 5 into the z variable to solve.

3*5=2*5+5\\15=10+5\\15=15

Since 15 = 15 is true, your answer is the first option.

3.

So for this, it's a similar process as Question 2 except that you are plugging in 0 into the x variable to solve:

8-4*0=4*0\\8-0=0\\8=0

Since 8 = 0 is a false statement, the correct answer is the second option.
