Biologists and Geologists use scientific knowledge to answer questions and solve problems affecting the natural world.

Biologists specialize in the study of living things. Geologists are considered physical scientists since they study the earth. Geology and biology are generally unconnected areas, despite the fact that they are both natural sciences, or studies that investigate the physical universe.

Scientific knowledge is what Biologists and Geologists gain from the experimental and data-gathering phases of the scientific method. Data gathering for scientific research is done in order to study and understand a phenomenon with help of which questions are answered and problems are solved.

While biology is the study of living things and rocks are not live things, geology is the study of rocks. A biologist, however, may find geologist information beneficial, and vice versa.

What does the immune system monitor continuously to ensure the protection of the body?
natulia [17]
The immune system monitor continuously the lymphocyte cell levels in order to ensure the protection of the body. These cells are a type of white blood cells that are important in determining the specificity of the response of the body to foreign substances and infectious microorganisms. This group of cells include the T cells, B cells and the natural killer cells. These are produced in the bone marrow and are transported to the lymphatic systems like the thymus, spleen and the lymph nodes. The NK cells function in cytotoxic innate immunity or the cell-mediated ones. T-cells would function by connecting to virus antigens on the outside of a cell that is infected while B-cells would connect to the virus directly in its surface.

Chromosomes are always in pair, and which is why every human being have an even number of chromosomes. Every child gets its chromosomes from both the parent, half from mother and half from father. All the cells in humans except the sex cells are diploid. Sex cells on the other hand are called haploid.
