Patriciana has (20/9) nickels and (80/9) dimes of coins .

<h3>Evaluation for the number of dimes and nickels.</h3>

There are 5 cents in a nickel and 10 cents in a dime.

Let the number of number of nickels be represented by the letter x, so that the number of dimes Patriciana has will be 4x.

So, 5x cents + 10 × 4x cents = 100 cents

5x cents + 40 cents = 100 cents

45x cents = 100 cents

divide through by the coefficient of x

x = 100cents/45cents

x = 20/9 by simplification,

and the number of dimes is calculated by putting 20/9 for x in 4x.

Hence, the number of dimes is 4(20/9) = 80/9 and that of nickels is 20/9.

6. (5 points) What is 3loga + logb − logc written as a single logarithm?
Jobisdone [24]

Answer: log(\frac{a^3b}{c})

Step-by-step explanation:

You need to use the following Properties of Logarithms:

1)m*log(a)=log(a)^m\\\\2)log(a)+log(b)=log(ab)\\\\3)log(a)-log(b)=log(\frac{a}{b})

Given the following expression:

3log(a) + log(b) - log(c)

You can follow these steps in order to write it as a single logarightm:

- Apply the first property shown above:

=log(a)^3 + log(b) - log(c)

- Apply the second property:

=log(a^3b)- log(c)

- Finally, apply the third property:

=log(\frac{a^3b}{c})

Find the area. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!
kaheart [24]

Answer:

616

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation to find the area of a trapezoid is:  A = ½ (b^1+b²) h.

b1=43

b2=45

h=14

Plug the variables in and solve.

A=\frac{1}{2} (43+45)14

A=\frac{1}{2} (88)14

A=\frac{1}{2} (1232)

A=616

Solve the system of equations.<br> y= 3x<br> y= x2-10
svetoff [14.1K]

Answer:

(-5, 2) and (2, 6)

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the substitution method. We know that y = 3x and y = x^2 - 10, so we can set them equal to one another.

3x = x^2 - 10

x^2 - 3x - 10 = 0

Use the quadratic equation to solve for x.

x = - 5, 2

Now solve for y using these two values of x by substituting it back into the equations.

y = - 15,  6

In coordinate form, (-5, 2) and (2, 6)
