To find the value of a, we substituute the y-intecepts into the function

y - intercept = (0, 6)

that is when x = 0 , y=6

Substitute x = 0, y = 6 into the function

6= a(0-1)(0-1)(3(0) + 4)

6 = a(1)(1)(4)

6 = 4a

4a = 6

a = 6/4

a = 1.5
