The median is the value that is in the middle of a dataset.

The first step to find the median is to order the values from least to greatest:

7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 15.

Since the number of data is even, the median will be the average of the pair of values that is in the middle, in this case, 11 and 12:

\frac{11+12}{2}=11.5

The median of the data set is 11.5.

Remove the parentheses from the following expression, and combine like terms: 3(ax + b2 – c) + 2
expeople1 [14]
Hi, Eswoody01! :)

To remove the parenthesis, we must distribute them:
3(ax + b^2 - c) + 2
3*ax+3*b^2-3*c + 2
Simplify.
3ax+3b^2-3c + 2

This is the most you can simplify this expression.

Hope this helps.

Professor quantum has two coins which total 35 cents. since one of the coins is not a dime, what are the two coins
Brums [2.3K]

So, there are 1, 5, 10, 25 and 50 cent coins.

The most logical combination would be a dime and a quarter (10 + 25 = 35) but it is said that "one of the coins is not a dime".

But, there is something many people don't notice. It says that one of the coins isn't a dime, but the other one can be a dime. So, the two coins are a quarter and a dime.

Hope it helped,
