Dr. Asgard's views are most consistent with those of Edward Titchener. Dr. Asgard believes that in order to fully understand complex processes, such as auditory processing, it is first necessary to understand all the separate component parts. Similarly, Titchener believed that all thoughts can be broken down to basic elements, specifically, sensations.

According to Titchener, when you recognize the thing, you combine recollections of previous sensations (color, shape, texture, smell, and taste). He was a fervent supporter of psychology as a science and felt it was essential to categorize the parts of the mind because science dealt with facts, not theories.

Hence, Dr. Asgard views match with Edward Tichener’s view because they follow the same procedure of Structuralism.

Mumz [18]

The statement is true.

In psychology, people who have an external locus of control believe that they cannot control the events that happen in their life, no matter how much they try to prevent something from happening. They believe that these events are caused by uncontrollable factors.

Believing that wars will always take place in societies, is an example of an external locus of control belief.
