Annaliza's car is stopped at a stoplight. She gradually increases her speed until she reaches the speed limit. She travels at th

is speed for a while and then has to slow to a stop for the next stop sign. She then has to increase her speed again until she reaches the speed limit in which she travels at that speed limit until once again she approaches a stop sign. Which of the following graphs represent Katherine’s speed while driving her car?

Every time that she stopped, the value of the speed is 0, the speed limit is the maximum represented in the graph and when she travels at this speed for a while the graph is a horizontal line.

So she starts at 0, then increases her speed until a limit then she drives at this speed for a while which is represented by a horizontal line. then, she has to slow to a stop, which means she goes back to 0, later increases her speed until the limit, drives a while until she finds a stop sign, represented by a horizontal line, and then goes to 0.

In conclusion, the graph that represents the journy is the fourth graph.

That is actually easier thatn it looks

here is  a tip
write that thing apart since they are all multiplication like this:
V=(1/3)pir^2  h
now just divide the whole equaiton by ((1/3)pir^2)
or if you don't like dividiing by fracitons, times both sides by 3/1 to clear fraction to get
3V=pir^2h
divide both sides by pir^2
(3v)/(pir^2)=h

[Precalculus] Find the value of sin(x/2):
dezoksy [38]

Put your number into the half-angle formula and simplify.

\displaystyle\sin{\frac{\theta}{2}}=\pm\sqrt{\frac{1-\cos{\theta}}{2}}=\sqrt{\frac{1-\frac{1}{3}}{2}}\\\\=\sqrt{\frac{1}{3}}=\sqrt{\frac{3}{9}}\\\\=\frac{\sqrt{3}}{3}

The appropriate selection is ...

A)\quad\dfrac{\sqrt{3}}{3}

What is the volume of a cone with a radius of 6cm and a height of 12cm?
kompoz [17]

Answer:

The answer is 452.16 cm³.

Formula to calculate the volume of cone = V = πr²x h/3

Now r = 6 cm and h = 12cm, and value of π = 3.14

By putting the values,

V = (3.14) (6)² (12/3) = (3.14)(36)(4)

Explain why the sum of two rational numbers is always rational. To earn full credit, you must provide an expression or example A
scoundrel [369]
So, adding two rationals is the same as adding two such fractions, which will result in another fraction of this same form since integers are closed under addition and multiplication. Thus, adding two rational numbers produces another rational number.

a/b and c/d are rational numbers with a,b,c,d intergers

so with the same denominators ( equaling a+c over b) or different ones (equaling ab+cb over bd) they end up with the answers of

same denominator= b is not equal to 0
different denominators= d is not equal to 0

this may not make sense but i'm pretty sure i understood you right
