The value of a is 71°, and the value of b is 109°.

What is a parallel line?

A parallel lines is defined as those type of line that are equidistant to each other which are on the same plane and they doesn't meet each other till infinity.

When two parallel lines are being intersected by another line called the transverse line, the following relationship is bound to occur such as;

 • Corresponding angles,
 • Alternate Interior Angles,
 • Alternate Interior Angles, Alternate Exterior Angles and
 • Consecutive Interior Angles.

From model 4, the pair of alternate exterior angles are equal in measure. That is 71° = angle opposite b°.

That is 180 - 71 = 109°

Also in model 4, the pair of alternate interior angles are equal in measure. a = 71°.

Find the value of 815×213 Although these numbers aren't quite as nice as the ones from the example, the procedure is the same, s
ANEK [815]

Answer:

The answer is 173,595‬

Step-by-step explanation:

Firstly, you multiply 815 by the first number of 213 which is 3

So:

815* 3=2445\\

Then 815 by the second number:

815* 1=815\\

Then 815 by the third number:

815* 2=1630\\

Then you add all the numbers, but you have to put a zero to the right of the second product and two zeroes to the third product and so on..

In this case the addition is :

2445+8150+163000 = 173595

The distance between Town A and Town B is 45 kilometers.
ololo11 [35]

Answer:

a)

0.8 hours

b)

1.1 kilometers/min

Step-by-step explanation:

a)

D = distance between town A and town B = 45 kilometers

v = speed of the train traveling from town A to town B = 60 kilometers per hour

t = time taken for the train to travel from town A to town B

Time taken is given as

t = D/v

inserting the values

t = 45/60

t = 0.8 hours

b)

D = distance between town A and town B = 45 kilometers

v = speed of the train traveling from town A to town B = ?

t = time taken for the train to travel from town A to town B = 40 minutes

Speed of the train is given as

v = D/t

inserting the values

v = 45/40

v = 1.1 kilometers/min
