A non-disjunction in meiotic anaphase occurring in either an egg or sperm might produce a human zygote with 45 chromosomes. A condition in which human contain 45 chromosomes instead of 46 chromosomes is called aneuploidy or abnormal chromosome number.

What is aneuploidy?

The occurrence of one or more extra or missing chromosomes leading to an unbalanced chromosome complement, or any chromosome number that is not an exact multiple of the haploid number (23). It is the presence of an abnormal number of chromosomes in a cell, for example a human cell having 45 or 47 chromosomes instead of the usual 46. An extra or missing chromosome is a common cause of some genetic disorders. The most common cause of aneuploidy happens during cell division when the chromosomes do not separate properly between the two cells.

An element has a half-life of 30 years. If you start with 10g of this element, how many grams of this element would remain after
drek231 [11]

After two half-lives or 60 years, 7.5 g of the element will be left.

Explanation:

Half-life:

  • In simple words, Half-life can be defined as the amount of time needed for a quantity to fall to half its value as contained at the beginning of the time period.
  • In this problem the half-life of the element is thirty years, then after thirty years half of the sample would have decayed and half would be left as it is.
  • After thirty years (The first half-life ) 30 /2 = 15 g declines and 15 g remains disappeared.
  • And after another sixty years (The two half-lives) 15 /2 = 7.5 g declines and 7.5 g remains disappeared.
  • After two half-lives or 60 years, 7.5 g of the element will be left.

What factor defines all groups in the Köppen system, with the exception of dry climates? evaporation precipitation air pressure
Liula [17]

Answer:

temperature

Explanation:

I choose temperature because it tells how hot, cold, dry and warm somethings are meanwhile evaporation is when water changes from liquid to gas,so that means water gets hot.

Precipitation is when water released from the cloud to form rain, freezing rain, sleet, snow,or hail.Which means thing get cold.

Air pressure also affect evaporation, which means that water will not be able to come up of the surface of a body of water. So that means the the pressure will be pushing down on the surface of the water.
