The percent markup of the sweatshirt is 60%

Here, we want to calculate the percenatge of profit made by the store

Mathematically;

\text{Percentage markup = }\frac{(sales\text{ price-cost price)}}{\cos t\text{ price}}\text{ }\times\text{ 100\%}

From the question, we can deduce the following;

cost price is the price the store bought the sweatshirt = $12

sales price is the amount in which they sold the sweatshirt = $19.20

Thus, we proceed to substitute these values into the markup equation above;

\begin{gathered} \text{Perecentage markup = }\frac{(19.20-12)}{12}\text{ }\times\text{ 100\%} \\  \\ \text{Percentage markup = }\frac{7.20}{12}\text{ }\times\text{ 100\%} \\  \\ =\text{ 60\%} \end{gathered}

What is the value of x?
Marta_Voda [28]

Answer:

x ≈ 6.8

Step-by-step explanation:

since all angles in a triangle add up to 180º:

8x-4+17x-23+3x+17=180

28x-10=180

28x=190

x ≈ 6.8

8r.) Find the amount A in an account after t years given the following conditions.
Elden [556K]

You can rewrite the differential equation as

50\cdot\dfrac{dA}{A}=dt\\\\50\ln{(A)}+C=t\qquad\mbox{integrating}\\\\t=50\ln{\left(\dfrac{A}{4000}\right)}\qquad\mbox{applying the boundary condition}

This last expression looks like the one you describe. If you solve for A instead of t, you get

A=4000\cdot e^{0.02t}

This is the same as your other answer.
