A independent variable is the things/types there using to compare what is the most/least affective in the experiment.

A controlled variable is something that stays the same in the experiment or a group/set used for comparison

The big bang theory tells us that God wasnt the one that created the world, but instead that a big boom that made all the stars and planets in place just in one boom! But this is a theory that mainly scientists like to agree on, but still in my opinion, i dont understand how this is true and real, but hey, its a theory, and thats how it all started with a "BANG".
