The main idea of the poster is that women are being encouraged to work on the home front during the war. Women can select jobs that correspond to their interests or skills. Jobs related to wartime industries have the greatest need for workers.

The women were made aware of the variety of jobs that are available to them at their doorstep from where they may manage their homes and work together. Women are also provided with the opportunity to choose a job where they may demonstrate their skills and expertise efficiently. The women were called out for taking jobs as men were at the war front, which is creating the issue of a labor shortage to produce goods essential during the war. During wartime, major employment was given in industries that make war equipment, agriculture to produce foods, and businesses to stabilize the economy.
