Who held the view that people experience a midlife transition in which they begin to doubt some of their earlier beliefs while they are in their middle years of adulthood?

According to Daniel Levinson's theory of the seasons of life, people develop a comprehensive vision of their future in their early 20s, followed by the midlife transition in their early 40s, when they begin to question their accomplishments and face mortality, which frequently results in a midlife crisis.

The losses in performance on cognitive tasks requiring speedy information processing or transformation in order to make decisions, such as measures of processing speed, working memory, and executive cognitive function, are the most significant changes in cognition with normal aging.

Describe some of the major problems that the country of Rwanda faced after the genocide.
crimeas [40]

Answer:

It has been difficult for Rwandans to recover from the genocide because of the brutality of the violence and how difficult it is to forgive neighbors who acted against the Tutsi minority.

Explanation:

The genocide in Rwanda began in April 1994 and neighbors began to turn on neighbors and unspeakable levels of violent acts were carried out. The U.N. estimates that 800,000 Rwandans died at the hands of other citizens in a state-led genocide against the Tutsi ethnic group.  Afterward, the recovery has been difficult given how the violence was orchestrated within actual communities and among neighbors, not just at the level of an army or militia. Therefore, NGOs that have worked on the reconciliation process developed models to help with psychological healing, where they encouraged Rwandans to participate in programs where they shared intense memories and were taught some tools to handle the painful emotions they were experiencing. Gacaca for example is a community court system that government authorities and NGOs are promoting as a means that is traditionally familiar to help rebuild the social fabric of Rwandan society.  Survivors can learn the truth about what happened to their loved ones and the guilty can confess what they did and hope for some level of forgiveness.

Identify what you think the manifest functions, latent functions, and dysfunctions are of schools. Review the vocabulary to hel
MariettaO [177]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

I think the manifest functions, latent functions, and dysfunctions are of schools are the following.

The manifest functions in schools are offering the best quality education possible to students, provide the necessary tools to succeed in their profession, and instill of the necessity to maintain high morals and values in school and the future workplace.

The latent functions would be to develop social skills that allow students to interact with a diverse group of individuals who have different perspectives, cultures, and backgrounds because that is what students will find in the workplace.

Among the dysfunctions is the way schools deal with inequity and class divisions that still affect the campuses in America.
