Given data:

Total number of songs = 8

Rock songs = 3

Reggae songs = 2

Country songs = 3

Probability = Number of favorable outcomes / Total number of outcomes

To find:

When song is selected randomly to play first song and then second song from remaining ones ,

Probability when both the songs are from Reggae songs,

\begin{gathered} P\text{ =}\frac{2}{8}\times\frac{1}{7} \\ \text{   = }\frac{2}{56} \end{gathered}P=\frac{1}{28}

Thus , the probability is 1/28.

Answer:

If you roll two dices, you can get as results all numbers from 2 to 12. Among these, the prime numbers are 2, 3, 5, 7, 11. The probability you get each of them is: 2: you can get it only as 1+1, so one combination over 36 possibility. Probability: 1/36. 3: you can get it as 1+2 or 2+1, so two combinations over 36 possibility. Probability: 2/36. 5: you can get it as 1+4, 2+3, 3+2, 4+1, so four combinations over 36 possibility. Probability: 4/36. 7: you can get as 1+6, 2+5, 3+4, 4+3, 5+2, 6+1, so six combinations over 36 possibility. Probability: 6/36. 11: you can get it as 5+6 or 6+5 so two combinations over 36 possibility. Probability: 2/36. The total probability of getting a prime number is the sum of the probabilities, which is 15/36. So m=15, n=36 and 10m+n=150+36=186.

Step-by-step explanation:

<h3>Part A</h3>

<u>Angle measures:</u>

  • a = x = z = 51° (as vertical angles and corresponding angles)
  • b = d = y = w = 180° - 51° = 129° (as supplementary angles and corresponding angles)
<h3>Part B</h3>

Supplementary angles for a linear pair and sum to 180°.

<u>Examples are:</u>

  • a and b or
  • a and d or
  • x and y etc.

What is the value of the expression 2 + 32 ⋅ (4 − 1)? <br> A: 24<br> B: 29 <br> C: 33 <br> D: 37
Paul [167]

For this case we have the following expression:

2 + 3 ^ 2 * (4 - 1)

Rewriting the expression we have:

1) First we subtract the numbers within the parenthesis:

2 + 3 ^ 2 * (3)

2) Then, we solve the exponents:

2 + 9 * (3)

3) Then, multiplication:

2 + 27

4) Finally, the addition of numbers is made:

29

Answer:

the value of the expression is:

B: 29
