The factors that are known to have helped religion to spread and also grow  are colonialism, common language and trade relationship.

<h3>What is religion?</h3>

This is the term that has to do with the belief in the existence of a supernatural being that is referred to as God. People believe in religion because it helps that them to put the issues that they have in the hands of a deity who they believe guides their path.

Religion was able to spread through various means. The white people spread Christianity during their colonial eras to places like Africa and the Americas. Islam was spread through the interactions that people had as they traded together back in the day.

Hence we can say that The factors that are knwon to have helped religion to spread and also grow  are colonialism, common language and trade relationship.
