In some kind of a 0.800 m ba(oh)2 solution, each individual ion has a concentration of 1.81M.

What are the 5 most common electrolytes?

Together with magnesium, calcite, phosphate, and bicarbonates, salt, potassium, & chloride are the important electrolytes. We obtain electrolytes from our diet and drinks. Unbalanced amounts of these electrolytes might result in either low or high levels.

Briefing:

In a solution of Ba(OH)2 at a concentration of 0750 M, Ba2+ is the predominant ion. = 0.800M and OH⁻ = 1.50 M.

The dissociation equation is:

Ba(OH)²(s)=Ba²+aq+2OH-aq

Using the Ba(OH)2 mole ratio: Ba₂⁺which is 1: 1 the concentration of Ba² is = 0.750M

By utilising Ba(OH)2's mole ratio: which is 1:2 the concentration of

OH=0.800*2/1

=1.81M

Individual ion concentration is therefore ba(oh)2 = 0.800M & = 1.81M.

When 231. mg of a certain molecular compound X are dissolved in 65. g of benzene (CH), the freezing point of the solution is mea
Elan Coil [88]

Answer:

Molar mass X = 18.2 g/mol

Explanation:

Step 1: Data given

Mass of compound X = 231 mg = 0.231 grams

Mass of benzene = 65.0 grams

The freezing point of the solution is measured to be 4.5 °C.

Freezing point of pure benzene = 5.5 °C

The freezing point constant for benzene is 5.12 °C/m

Step 2: Calculate molality

ΔT = i*Kf*m

⇒ΔT = the freezing point depression = 5.5 °C - 4.5 °C = 1.0 °C

⇒i = the Van't hoff factor = 1

⇒Kf = the freezing point depression constant for benzene = 5.12 °C/m

⇒m = the molality = moles X / mass benzene

m = 1.0 / 5.12 °C/m

m = 0.1953 molal

Step 3: Calculate moles X

Moles X = molality * mass benzene

Moles X = 0.1953 molal * 0.065 kg

Moles X = 0.0127 moles

Step 4: Calculate molar mass X

Molar mass X = mass / moles

Molar mass X = 0.231 grams / 0.0127 moles

Molar mass X = 18.2 g/mol

A hot chunk of metal at 120 degrees Celsius is put into water at 20 degrees Celsius.
valentina_108 [34]

i believe the answer is B: both wind up at 60°C

but it's also reasonable to assume, given enough time, they wind up at 20°C because the water would heat up to cool the metal then slowly release the heat to the air untill they both reach 20°C

if it were me I'd answer B, apologies if I'm wrong
