Answer:

"No man is an island.” This saying is also true for organisms in an ecosystem. No organism exists in isolation.  Individual organisms live together in an ecosystem and depend on one another.  In fact, they have many different types of interactions with each other, and many of these interactions are critical for their survival.

So what do these interactions look like in an ecosystem? One category of interactions describes the different ways organisms obtain their food and energy. Some organisms can make their own food, and other organisms have to get their food by eating other organisms. An organism that must obtain their nutrients by eating (consuming) other organisms is called a consumer, or a heterotroph. While there are a lot of fancy words related to the sciences, one of the great things is that many of them are based on Latin or Greek roots. For example, heterotroph becomes easier to remember when you realize that in Greek, “hetero” means “other” and “troph” means food; in other words, heterotrophs eat other organisms to get their food. They then use the energy and materials in that food to grow, reproduce and carry out all of their life activities. All animals, all fungi, and some kinds of bacteria are heterotrophs and consumers. .

Answer:

Polar bear are found in the Arctic region. The polar bear feed on fishes, insects etc.

The algae undergoes photosynthesis and produces food through this. The algae is a source of food for the fishes in water. The algae makes the fishes grow and develop after providing it with the nutrients needed to do so.

The fishes are then eaten by the polar bear. Without the algae the fishes may starve and the polar bear may starve to death too due lack of preys such as the fish. This cycle makes the algae a very important source of energy.

Why bond angle of H2O is maximum then OF2??
Nataly_w [17]
It's lone a little distinction (103 degrees versus 104 degrees in water), and I trust the standard rationalization is that since F is more electronegative than H, the electrons in the O-F bond invest more energy far from the O (and near the F) than the electrons in the O-H bond. That moves the powerful focal point of the unpleasant constrain between the bonding sets far from the O, and thus far from each other. So the shock between the bonding sets is marginally less, while the repugnance between the solitary matches on the O is the same - the outcome is the edge between the bonds is somewhat less.

Which statement describes the relationship between the scientific method in the scientific process
Oksana_A [137]

Answer: The methodology is the science that addresses these issues.

Explanation:

There are several steps to exploring to obtain valid scientific results. The scientific method is one of those elements. The scientific method involves specific steps that need to be taken to begin the scientific process adequately. By the scientific method, we also mean the hypothesis or assumption that needs to be put in the paper to try to defend it later and in fact. By scientific process, we suggest the following steps we take after evaluating a hypothesis. The scientific method is the very making of a particular scientific work, that is, its central part.

High temperature refrigeration is that produced by ____. A. heat from a furnace B. an air-conditioning system C. the vegetable c
seropon [69]

Answer:

B. an air-conditioning system.

Explanation:

Refrigeration is defined as a process of cooling a system to lower temperature below the surrounding temperature while the removed heat is rejected at higher temperatures.

Heat pumps use the heat output of the refrigeration process, which may also be designed to be reversible, but are otherwise similar to air conditioning units.

What elements are in NaC2HO4 and how many atoms are in each element
JulijaS [17]

Answer:

Each molecule contains one atom of A and one atom of B. The reaction does not use all of the atoms to form compounds.

                 A + B ⟶ Product

Particles: 6      8              6

If six A atoms form six product molecules, each molecule can contain only one A atom.

The formula of the product is ABₙ.

If n = 1, we need six atoms of B.

If n = 2, we need 12 atoms of B. However, we have only eight atoms of B, so the formula of the product must be AB.

Thus, 6A + 6B ⟶ 6AB, with two B atoms left over.
