The use of any or all of the five senses in description is an example of concrete imagery.

Option A. concrete imagery.

The images detail the five senses: taste, touch, sight, smell, and hearing. Imagery can also refer to details about movement or sensations of body movement (kinesthetic imagery), or human emotions and sensations such as fear or hunger (organic or subjective imagery).

These five senses are sight, smell, hearing, taste, and touch. We see with our eyes, smell with our noses, hear with our ears, taste with our tongues, and touch with our skins. Our brain receives signals from each of these organs and interprets them to make us feel what is happening around us.

Anvisha [2.4K]

Answer:

See explanation for summary. If my summary does not answer your question, please keep in mind that I am doing my best. I did write this myself, and I am not using any outside sources whatsoever to write this.

I hope this helps!

Explanation:

In The Secret Garden, Mary Lennox is sent to live with her uncle, Archibald Craven, after a cholera outbreak kills her parents, whith whom she was living in India, although she rarely got the opportunity to see them.

Master Craven is still grieving the death of his wife, an event that occurs ten years prior to the start of the novel. Mistress Craven had a garden that Master Craven locks up after her death.

Mary, a curious young girl, wants desperately to find a way to enter the garden, and so she workes tirelessly to find something that may let her enter. She gets relatively far when she hears crying from a section of the mansion, which she has been told she may not enter.

However, Mary disregards these rules and finds Colin Craven, her uncle's son, who, just like his father, is a hunchback. Mary befriends Colin, and together they continue their search for a way to enter the secret garden.

Read the passage.
Lana71 [14]

Answer:

Shall continue to

Explanation:

The author's claim is that students should have more recess time. That is the point he/she is trying to prove. "Without more recess time" means "if the students don't have more recess time." The answer is not 'will,' because the author is trying to prove that students are already struggling with their problems and won't get better unless they have more recess time. It is not 'might,' because that is still negative for their point that students should have more recess time to not struggle with their problems. It is 'shall continue to' because the author is proving that students are already struggling with problems and will continue to struggle without more recess time.

Why did armando have the idea that every one in the bank was watching him? What was the truth?
Likurg_2 [28]

Answer: Armando thought every one in the bank was watching him because he was nervous and he feared he was going to be robbed of his money. Fear was the idea that prompted him to behave this way.

Explanation: Since he had so much fear, he was not thinking logically. The bank teller was asking him questions that he believed to be unnecessary. The teller was also counting his money outloud to him and this caused him more fear.

A larger man was staring at him, and this caused him to start sweating and he became very nervous thinking the man was going to rob him of the 5,000 pesos.
