John Silver rallies the crew of the Hispaniola to mutiny, in order to becoming a pirate captain. The main character of this story is Captain Smollett.

John silver helps Squire trelawney in order to find the rest of required crew include all tough-looking guys. He is very helpful because he convince two young guys who he had already hired.

At the end of chapter 9 Doctor Livesey and Squire both were agreed to Captain Smollett's wishes that instead of allowing the crew members to sleep one end of ship, they set up the places to sleep throughout the boat.
