It is important to divide the state from religion to control domination of the majority religious status and violation of Fundamental Rights. Every individual has the freedom to assume other religions and has the freedom to decode other religions differently.

From the beginning of human civilizations, there exists evidence that men worshiped a power that they believed stands above all. In primitive societies, man worshiped nature which furnished him with everything to live. In the later civilizations, the worship of a supernatural being referred to as God began. This was standard in almost all societies.

Even though the image of the god existed common, the way they worship, the word they provide to the god, their beliefs, and cultures vary distinctively. Every individual includes the liberty to embrace other religions.It is important to divide the state from religion to control domination of the majority religious status and violation of Fundamental Rights. Every individual has the freedom to assume other religions and has the freedom to decode other religions differently.

It is significant to separate religion from the state because of the subsequent reasons.

  • A country requires to function democratically. Almost all the countries of the world will include more than one religious group living in them. The tyranny of the majority and the violation of Fundamental Rights can be very dangerous for individuals belonging to the minority.
  • Another reason behind dividing religion from the state exists that in democratic societies we require to rescue the freedom of individuals to exit from their religion, embrace any other religion or have the privilege to interpret religious education differently.
  • It exists important to disconnect religion from ending the domination of one spiritual community over another.
