Answer:

C.) Selective pressure

Explanation:

Selective pressure is a natural process that occurs in nature in which certain phenotypes are favored in certain environments. When we say these phenotypes are favored, this means individuals with these phenotypes have a better chance at survival and reproduction in particular environments. The human body is composed of cells, organs, organ systems, and tissues. How are these organized?
Airida [17]

The correct answer for this question is (A) Groups of cells form tissues.

In multicellular animals, a group of similar cells alongwith inter-cellular substances perform a specific function. Such an organization is called tissue. All complex animals consist of only four basic type of tissues. These tissues are organized in specific proportion and pattern to form an organ like stomach, lung, heart and kidney. When two or more organs perform a common function by their physical and/or chemical interaction , they together form organ system, eg., digestive system, respiratory system, etc. Cells, tissues, organs and organ system split up the work in a way that exhibits division of labour and contribute to the survival of the body as whole.

in an experiment to determine the effect of exercise on pulse rate student checks his pulse rate and after exercising for severa
Sladkaya [172]
The purpose of this is to indicate the changes or effects in pulse rate bought by exercise.

We can also call this the control set up, it is where all the setting is same except without the variable that is going to be tested. So in this case, that variable is exercise.

So it is supposed that both set up has same settings such as the amount of time measuring the pulse, or the position of arm or neck etc.
