Can bottled water go bad? No, it can’t. Water bottles itself can expire and will leach chemicals into water and it won’t be good for you but water itself in the bottle can not go bad. The water bottle does have a freshness date though, but it basically is like sugar or salt having an expiration date, so can bottles water go bad? It could if you let the chemicals in it but the water itself can not go bad.

Answer:

No, bottled water cannot go bad.

Explanation:

It is impossible for any sort of water to "expire". But, when in the bottle for to long, the plastic does become dangerous. The bottle begins to leak chemicals into the water. This doesn't make the water toxic, but it can alter the taste of your water.
