Which word is the preposition and which word is the object of the preposition in this sentence? Our car bounced and rattled loud
daser333 [38]
A. Preposition: over; object of the preposition: bridge

A preposition shows the location of an object, it shows where something is. In this case the preposition is "over" as that is the only word that is showing 'where' something is and thus the car becomes the object.

What rhetorical strategy is Wiesel using in the passage?(APEX)
UkoKoshka [18]

The correct answer is C: Logos.

In this passage, Wiesel gives a specific example of the cost of indifference. Specifically, thanks to the indifference of the United States, 1000 lives were needlessly lost when a ship was sent back to Nazi Germany.

Answer A can be eliminated because no question is being asked in the passage. Answer B can be eliminated because the exact number killed is mentioned but is not the focus of the passage. Finally, Answer D can be eliminated because he is not retelling a sad story about death.

The main idea of the passage is that the indifference of the US resulted in the deaths of those aboard the St. Louis.

joja [24]

Way one they can occasionally ask how the child is feeling but don't force them to answer.

Way two if they child is moping around sad just ask them if they are alright and give them a hug then back slowly back away giving them a moment to say anything that they want to say and if they don't want to just leave them alone.

Way three if the child is angry give them a minute to leave the room and calm down then calmly ask them what the problem is.

I know thats only three im sorry i just can't think of another one i hope everything goes good and im sorry if these didnt help i wish you the best luck with whatever your doing.
