The two triangles are similar and equal therefore; It means the corresponding sides are equal and the corresponding angles are equal. Hence;
 ZX=EF, thus,ZX = 1.3 in.
EG = XY, thus, EG = 3.0 in.
m∠ X = m∠E, thus m ∠X = 48°
m∠ G = m∠Y, and angles in a triangle add up to 180 thus;
  m ∠ G=180- (107 +48) = 25°

The triangles are given to be congruent which means that their corresponding angles and sides will have to have similar measures and similar lengths.

a. ZX = __ in
 The length of ZX is equal to the length of FE. Hence, the length should be equal to <em>1.3 in</em>.

b. EG = __ in
 The length of EG is equal to the length of XY. From the figure, the answer should be <em>3.0 in</em>.

c. m∠X = __°
 The measure of angle x should be equal to the measure of angle E. This is given to be equal to <em>48°</em>.

d. m∠G
  The measure of angle F is equal to the measure of angle Z. Th measure of angle F should then be equal to 107°. In the triangle in the right, the measure of angle E is 48°, the measure of angle F is 107°, subtracting the sum of these angles from 180°, we are then left with measure of angle G which is equal to <em>25°</em>.

a sign says that the price marked on all music equipment is 30% off the original price you buy an electric guitar for sale price
prohojiy [21]

The original price is $450.

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

Step 1:

Given details, Discount%, D% = 30 and Selling Price, SP = $315

Step 2:

Write down formula for calculating the Original Price

Selling Price (SP) = Original Price (OP) - Discount (D)

Discount (D) = Original Price (OP) * (D%/100)

Step 3:

Substitute given values in the formula

315 = OP - D

D = OP \times30/100

D = 0.3 OP

Step 4:

Substitute value of D in the first formula

315 = OP - 0.3 OP

315 = OP (1 - 0.3) = 0.7 OP

Original Price, OP = 315/0.7 = $450

Tameron is driving 540
Ludmilka [50]

Do 540 ÷ 45 as you're first step. Then multiply that by 3/4.

540÷4= 12.

Priya says these polygons are similar because their side lengths are the same. Clare says "these explain polygons are not simila
taurus [48]

Answer:

Clare is correct

Step-by-step explanation:

For two shapes to be congruent, the shape and size have to be the same. In other words they ate have to equal length in size and also equal angles(same shape hence equal angles). Therefore Clare is correct since only have equal length in sides does not qualify the polygon to be congruent or similar like Priya claims

Rearrange the equation so u is the independent variable,<br> 4u + 8w = -3u + 2w<br><br> W=
Katyanochek1 [597]

Answer:

w=-1.16u

Step-by-step explanation:

first you want to put the W's on one side and the U's on the other. we can do this by subtracting 4u from the left side and the right side making the equations 8w=-7u+2w.

next we want to subtract 2w from both sides making the equation 6w=-7u then we divide by 6 to get w=-1.16u

Plz help me with this math and also explain
jasenka [17]

Step-by-step explanation:

<h2>[1]</h2>

  • SI = $250
  • Rate (R) = 12\sf \dfrac{1}{2} %
  • Time (t) = 4 years

\longrightarrow \tt { SI = \dfrac{PRT}{100} } \\

\longrightarrow \tt { 250 = \dfrac{P \times 12\cfrac{1}{2} \times 4}{100} } \\

\longrightarrow \tt { 250 = \dfrac{P \times \cfrac{25}{2} \times 4}{100} } \\

\longrightarrow \tt { 250 = \dfrac{P \times 25 \times 2}{100} } \\

\longrightarrow \tt { 250 = \dfrac{P \times 50}{100} } \\

\longrightarrow \tt { 250 \times 100 = P \times 50} \\

\longrightarrow \tt { 25000 = P \times 50} \\

\longrightarrow \tt { \dfrac{25000}{50} = P } \\

\longrightarrow \underline{\boxed{ \green{ \tt { \$ \; 500 = P }}}} \\

Therefore principal is $500.

  • 2/7 of the balls are red.
  • 3/5 of the balls are blue.
  • Rest are yellow.
  • Number of yellow balls = 36

Let the total number of balls be x.

→ Red balls + Blue balls + Yellow balls = Total number of balls

\longrightarrow \tt{ \dfrac{2}{7}x + \dfrac{3}{5}x + 36 = x} \\

\longrightarrow \tt{ \dfrac{10x + 21x + 1260}{35} = x} \\

\longrightarrow \tt{ \dfrac{31x + 1260}{35} = x} \\

\longrightarrow \tt{ 31x + 1260= 35x} \\

\longrightarrow \tt{ 1260= 35x-31x} \\

\longrightarrow \tt{ 1260= 4x} \\

\longrightarrow \tt{ \dfrac{1260 }{4}= x} \\

\longrightarrow \underline{\boxed{  \tt { 315 = x }}} \\

Total number of balls is 315.

A/Q,

3/5 of the balls are blue.

\longrightarrow \tt{ Balls_{(Blue)} =\dfrac{3 }{5}x} \\

\longrightarrow \tt{ Balls_{(Blue)} =\dfrac{3 }{5}(315)} \\

\longrightarrow \tt{ Balls_{(Blue)} = 3(63)} \\

\longrightarrow \underline{\boxed{ \green {\tt { Balls_{(Blue)} = 189 }}}} \\
